What is a home visit like?
Do I need to set up my house beforehand?
A home visit is our way of providing treatment to your child and family where you need it the most. It may look like joining right into routines that are challenging (mealtimes, morning routines) or simply using things in your environment to support your child, so you can keep it up when we leave!
Nope! We come ready to work with you using whatever is readily available in the house. And don't worry about laundry piles...we're human too!

How long will my child need OT?
Everyone's therapy journey is different. We pride ourselves on taking a holistic look at our client's needs, and supporting your family to meet those needs in a way that fits your lifestyle. For some, that may look like a few months and some family education. For others, the journey might be a bit longer. This can be discussed at evaluation and throughout your child's therapy journey.
